A special calculation method enables the effect of the manufacturing process and component geometry on anisotropic material properties and hence on rigidity behaviour to be determined with a very high degree of accuracy. This method makes it possible to predict exactly the deformation behaviour of large, flat, short-fibre-reinforced components under flexural stress.
