Micro-moulding has developed into a key technology of microengineering. At the current state of the technology, it is possible to produce plastics parts in a wide variety of forms and materials. Structures with dimensions of the order of 1 mu m and less are now feasible, and the term "nano-moulding" is set to enter our vocabulary.
