Pilot operations of two-stage cementing of directional wells have been fulfilled in oil fields of West Siberia with a low level of plugging solution at the first stage. Reviewed are peculiarities of such method providing improved quality of formation isolation. Efficiency of the above method for oil production enhancement from new wells has been established.
