There are presented studies on the synthesis of aryl hydrazones of omega-phenylsulfonyl-acetophenone in reaction of phenacyl-phenyl sulphone with diazonium compounds carried out at alkaline medium. Elemental analysis UV and IR spectroscopy confirmed the structure of synthesized compounds. Calculations proved the occurrence of the hydrogen bond between oxygen of sulfonyl group and hydrogen of hydrazone group. Some of synthesized compounds show photodynamic action.
