Metals in mineral fertilisers, agro-chemicals and in soil structure correction substances.
There were presented the results of regular analytical research aimed at determination of metals - considered as microelements but having toxic activity - contained in chemical products being applied in agriculture, that is in: mineral fertilisers, industrial waste used for fertilisation and deacidification, and in soil reclamation substances. The results of the research enabled the evaluation of doses of metals added into the soil during the agrochemical operations. The necessity for regular analytical control of the substances used in agriculture was underlined. Industrial and communal wastes, although contain nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg) and microelements (B, Mn, Fe, Cu, Mo, Ti, Zn), are a serious threat to the quality of farm products, because of the content of highly toxic metals such as: As, Hg, Pb, Cd and Sb.
