Incorporation phenomena of donor dopant in BaTiO3 systems
Incorporation phenomena for yttria-doped barium titanate has been investigated as a function of dopant concentration and of firing atmospheres. Grain size, resistance of grains and grain boundaries, T-c and thermoelectric power were measured. It was found that the grain growth anomaly has nothing to do with the formation of cation vacancy. T-c and electron concentration increased with donor content and was saturated at the point where grain growth anomaly occurred.
