SOLAR-AIDED CONVENTIONAL POWER-STATION FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTH EUROPE
Solar hybrid power stations with a higher fossil proportion of power feed are the most likely variant for large-scale technical solar electricity production. Their application considerations, however, have been restricted so far to areas in the Sun-Belt of the Earth. The following contribution presents - after analysing the fossil and solarpower feed - two new variants for solar hybrid power stations: the solar extraction-steam saving and the solar economiser. It is demonstrated how these variants can achieve also under Central European radiation conditions on electricity generation price of below 1 DM/kWh.
