The last three decades brought forth a series of sophisticated engines which distinguish themselves from all others by the advantageous attributes of their class, such as multifuel operation, quiet running, Low pollutant emission and relatively high thermodynamic efficiency. Their manifold applications as drive unit for vehicles or generators could be proved with the aid of a prototype.
