Optimization of power stations with evolutionary algorithms
In fossil fuel power stations, various assemblies are combined into a complete system with the objective of efficient and environmentally safe power generation. Depending on the coupling and behaviour of the individual components, differing conditional changes are achieved in the complete system. The presented power station simulation program can be used to determine optimum condition sizes, and thus improve the previous manual optimization process for determining the optimum power station design.
