At present, application of combined heat and power generagtion plants stagnates. Therefore all possibilities should be analysed, which may increase the efficiency of such plants. In this case a very interesting line of approach is the integration of thermally-driven cooling-devices into the CHP-System. This article deals with basic facts concerning the ecological efficiency of Combined Cold, Heat and Power Generation (CCHP).
