열 플라즈마를 이용한 나노 사이즈의 Zn-TiO2 분말의 합성
Synthesis of Nano-sized Zn-doped TiO2 using Thermal Plasma
Thermal plasma processing has unique characteristics due to high temperature, high activity and rapid quenching. So this processing adapts to synthesize nano-sized powder. In this study, we prepared high quality nano-sized Zn doped TiO2 using DC plsma jet. Raw material (TiCl4, ZnCl2) was fied into plasma flame so that nano-sized Zn/TiO2 at different ratio of Zn(1%, 3%, 5%, 10%) was synthesized. We studied the powder properties such as particle size, phase composition and the amount of light absorbance by TEM, XRD, UV-Vis. Spectroscopy. The particle size was approximately 10nm - 30 nm. By increasing Zn till 5%, the contents of anatase was increased and the light absorbance of powders was shifted in visible region comparing to commercial degussa P-25.
