Autocompensation Photometer for Long-Term Process Monitoring
A design of a process photometer is proposed that combines features of standard double-beam spectrophotometers with a compensation for window soiling that is used in industrial applications. Emphasis is laid on devising a reliable and robust monitoring device while keeping the photometer simple and inexpensive. A separation of main and reference signal is obtained by switching between two optical paths.
