Adsorption method for sulfur oxides removal of industrial gases at sulfuric acid production
An increasing tendency towards application of adsorption methods to toxic and harmfull compounds removal can be observed nowdays. This interest is due to their efficient economically and technological deposition. On the basis of the previous laboratory test data behaviour of two-component composite for sulfur oxide is necessary - natural clinoptilolite for SO2 and acid-modified bentonite for SO3. Defined optimal relationships between mentioned adsorbents was tested. Experimental data allow to propose a principal model of sulfur oxides removal from industrial waste gases at sulfur acid production.
