Polyhedral (in-)stability by increasing supersaturation - maximum rate of stable growth
Polyhedral (in-)stability is a well-recognized problem in crystal growth under diffusion conditions, An explanation for the stability loss is given in the present paper considering the normal growth rate in the middle of the crystal face.
