Laser Electrochemistry of Short-Lived Intermediate Species
The specific features of photoelectron emission from metal into electrolyte solution, induced by nanosecond uv lasers, are considered. The application of this phenomenon to studies on electrode reactions of short-lived intermediates (hydrogen atoms and simple organic radicals) are briefly reviewed.
