Glycidyl methacrylate has been copolymerised with ethyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate in solution at 70 degrees C using benzoyl peroxide as a free radical initiator. The copolymer composition has been determined by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, gel permeation chromatography and solubility measurement. The adhesive properties of the copolymers have also been studied.
