Structural Diversity in the Carbamato Chemistry of Zinc - X-Ray Single-Crystal Structures of ((Me(2)Nch(2))(2)Zn(O2Cn(C2H5)(2))(2)) and (C(5)H(5)Nzn(2)Me(O2Cn(C2H5)(2))(3))
Zinc carbamates have a diverse chemistry. Two new carbamates, the monomeric tetramethylethylenediamine adduct of (diethylcarbamato)zinc (II) [(Me(2)-NCH2)(2)Zn(O2CN(C2H5)(2))(2)] and a dimer [C5H5NZn2-Me(O2CN(C2H5)(2))(3)], have been synthesized by reacting tetramethylethylenediamine and pyridine, respectively, with the tetramer [(CH3)(2)Zn-4(O2CN(C2H5)(2))(6)].
