Effect of surfactants and ionic liquids on the properties of hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber containing crosslinking coagents
Hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene elastomer was cured with dicumyl peroxide in the presence of MgO modified with unsatd. org. acids or esters as co-agents and ionic liqs. or surfactants as dispersing agents. The addn. of dispersing agents to the rubber comps. effected the vulcanization kinetics, mech. properties of vulcanizates and crosslink d. as well as crosslink spatial distribution in the elastomer network. The addn. of surfactants or ionic liqs. resulted in a decrease in the tensile strength of the vulcanizates.
