마이크로웨이브 에너지를 이용한 현미유 추출공정 평가

전통적인 액체-고체 추출공정은 공정이 복잡하고, 용매의 소비가 많다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 필수 지방산이 포함된 현미유를 마이크로웨이브를 이용한 용매추출 공정을 이용하여 추출하였다. 현미유의 추출량은 마이크로웨이브의 power와 시간에 의존하였다. 최대추출량은 520W 의 power로 30분 추출할 때 시료 15g 기준 최대 1.76g의 현미유가 추출되었다. 용매추출과 비교할 때 매우 짧은 시간동안 동일한 양의 현미유가 추출되는 것으로 나타났다. 추출된 현미유의 지방산의 조성을 용매추출과 비교한 결과 비슷한 지방산 조성을 나타내었으며, 마이크로웨이브 power가 증가함에 따라 불포화지방산과 squalene의 분율이 조금 증가함을 나타내었다. 따랏 용매추출 공정에 마이크로웨이브 에너지를 도입하여 추출시간의 단축, 추출 효율의 향상 등을 가져올 수 있었다.
Conventional liquid-solid extraction procedures are laborious and solvent consuming. In this study, the oil including essential fatty acids was extracted from the domestic rice bran using microwave assisted solvent extraction (MASE) process. The extraction amount of rice bran oil was increased with microwave power and induced time. The maximum amount of extracted oil was 1.79 g per 15 g sample at 520 W and 30 minutes. In comparing to solvent extraction, the rapid extraction was confirmed. The composition of fatty acid was similar to solvent extraction. The amount of unsaturated fatty acid and squalene was slightly as microwave power was increased. In comparison to conventional extraction procedures the benefits of microwave assisted solvent extraction were shortened extraction times and improved extraction efficiencies.
