실리카 나노 충진재의 표면 처리에 따른 고분자 치아수복재의 중합 특성
Polymerization Behavior of POlymeric Dental Restorative Composite Through the Surface Treatment of Silica Nanofiller

친수성을 띤 실리카 나노 필러 표면을 동결건조법을 사용하여 필러를 기준으로 γ-methacryloylpropyltrimethoxysilane (γ-MPS)의 농도를 각각 0, 5, 8, 10, 20 wt%까지 변화시켜 소수성으로 처리한 후 2,2'-bis-[4-(3-methacryloxy-2-hydroxypropoxy)phenyl]propane와 triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (70/30 wt%) resin matrix와 함께 가시광선 중합형 고분자 치아수복재(polymeric dental restorative composite, PDRC)를 제조하였다. 제조된 PDRC에 의하여 γ-MPS 농도에 따른 중합 특성을 치과용 규격에 따라 중합전환률, 중합수축률, 중합깊이 등을 측정함으로써 비교하였으며 이에 따른 PDRC의 마모저항성과 표면 특성을 내마모기와 시차주사현미경을 사용하여 고찰하였다. 또한 필러 표면의 소수성 처리에 따른 필러 함량별 PDRC의 중합 특성을 표면 처리하지 않은 필러를 사용하여 제조한 대조군 PDRC와 함께 고찰한 결과, γ-MPS로 표면 처리한 필러를 사용하여 제조한 PDRC가 대조군에 비해 동일한 필러 충진량에서 제반 중합 특성이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.
The preparation of visible light activated polymeric dental restorative composite (PDRC) was carried out using fumed silica nanofiller, of which the surface was hydrophobically treated with various concentration of γ-methacryloylpropyltrimethoxysilane (γ-MPS): 0, 5, 8, 10 and 20 wt% of nanofiller. To improve the miscibility of filler with resin matrix, which consisted of 70/30 wt% ratio of 2,2'-bis-[4-(3-methacryloxy-2-hydroxypropoxy)phenyl]propane and triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate, respectively, freeze drying method was adopted for the hydrophobic treatment of filler's surface. From the measurement of degree of conversion, polymerization shrinkage, and depth of cure, the polymerization behavior of PDRC was investigated in accordance with recommended dental specifications. Both the abrasion resistance and the surface characteristics were also investigated. Results of the polymerization behavior and scanning slectron microscopy studies showed that PDRC prepared using γ-MPS treated filler had a superior polymerization behavior and surface properties compared to those of PDRC with untreated filler.
